FRIDAY
An Electrifying Day
0900-1100
Had basic microbiology lecture. It was pretty nice... I think this subject is pretty interesting... I like it... =D
1100-1145
Took a bus from school to SPCA... =D
1145-1215pm
Played with the animals in SPCA... There were many rabbits and kittens looking for a new home... I hope that they get adopted soon... =D Then, there was this brown ticked cat in the cattery... He was basically attacking the straps on my bag. He was really cute too, mewing and rubbing himself on my legs. I'm sure he'll get adopted in no time.
1245-1305
Took another bus from SPCA to Toa Payoh interchange. Rachel was already there when I reached...
1305-1415
Waited with Rachel for Candice and Sally to arrive. We were bored, so we went to walk around first. We bought onion rings from Burger King and ate them on the steps. Thereafter, we went hunting for potato chips... Wanted to buy them from 7-eleven, but their things were so overpriced... We then decided to find the NTUC. Took a hell lot of time to find it and all we bought were a bag of Ruffles and a tube of Fruitips... We then made our way back to the interchange.
1415-1810
Met up with Candice and went to the foodcourt for lunch. Talked about lots of things and Candice was half crazy because of this guy in her class... Anyway, we had lunch, chatted a bit and went "shopping" for Rachel's birthday present... We ended up in Kiddy Palace and bought her a white persian soft toy... It looks really real and the fur was pretty nice too...
Next, we took lots of pictures outside the shop(lots of people were staring at us). That's when things started happening... First off, while I was passing my camera to Candice, she got a shock(as in a static shock!). Then for a while, nothing happened and we assumed that it was just a one off thing...
Boy, were we wrong! I was walking past Sally, when I brushed against her arm and there was a loud "PIAK!". It was really loud, like a spark from a wire... It hurt a little, but after that, it was fine. Still, that's not the end of it. While Sally was holding the camera, Candice and I reached over to see the picture. Both of us touched the camera at the same time, and then, we got another shock. This one was stronger than the previous one. Ouch!
What a day! It was already running late at that time, so we parted our ways and went home... I took bus 88 with Sally and we chatted till I got off... What a day!
SATURDAY
Woke up, practiced a piece on my guzheng and went off for class... =D It was alright, but I think I can still make that piece sound better... Ah well, more practice then! According to my teacher, he would teach us a piece which uses both hands to play next week. I can't wait! =D
Thereafter, I cooked pasta for lunch and played The Sims 2 until about four plus and went for a nap while waiting for my dad to come home... After the nap, we went out to buy my rabbits' food... 2.5kg of hay and 4.5kg of pellets... That's a total of 7kg and $42...
Then, we went to meet my mum at Toa Payoh for dinner... We went to the library too, to return my books and I borrowed another four(on animals of course). After that, we went to the wake of my aunt's father-in-law. I don't know him personally, but my dad did, so we went. Met up with my cousins there too... We chatted for a good few hours until my parents decided it was time to leave.
Cleaned my rabbits' litterbox and bathed once I reached home and slept at 2am... That's why I only got up at 11am today... =X
TODAY
Didn't do much actually... Woke up, watched Jurassic Park with my sister, had lunch and got on the computer. I'm going to go do my homework now... Till next time!

Wanted to blog yesterday, but as usual, things keep cropping up...
YESTERDAY
Had my first Animal Anatomy and Physiology (AAP) lesson! It was a little confusing, but interesting nonetheless. =D I can't wait until we start the lab sessions! I think it'll be much more fun! =D Afterwards, I had lunch and went to the bookshop to buy my HPI textbook... It was super heavy, and the stupid thing is, I still borrowed that even heavier book from the library... The Sun must have fried my brains thoroughly... Ah wells...
TODAY
Had total lesson time from 8am-10am. 8am! Had to wake up at 6am just to go to school for that two hours... Not that I'm complaining though... I like school... It's just that I like having my 8 hours of sleep too... =D Anyway, had brunch after asking Mr Yee Mon a few questions about the abdominal cavity. I ate Chicken Chop Spaghetti and had a cup of iced milo... Yummy yummy... =D Chatted with Alison for a while and then headed home...
I fell asleep on the bus! AND nearly missed my stop... I woke up when the bus was turning into the bus stop... Luckily there were others alighting at the same stop and bought me some time to get my things and run down... Thereafter, I went to the provision shop to buy myself some sweets... =D I've finished one tube already...
I don't think I've said this before, but I think my block's new colours are absolutely horrible... I cringe everytime I look at it... It's basically made up of 4 colours... This really light lemon-lime colour, a light blush lavender, an eccentric purple and orange... Get my point? They were doing something with the corridor floor too... I like it though... Looks really pretty and artistic... It's like this range of greys which looks like a calm surface of the sea... It even has little spots of paint on it, giving it a really ethereal look... Magical, if you ask me... =D I hope it stays that way.

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL
Looked forward to it, but now that it really is here, I'm feeling a little apprehensive...
Was in school at around 8.45am today. Met up with Fifa and went up to the classroom... There, we met Dawn, who was sitting alone outside the room... Next came Sheryl and then, Alison and Isabel... You could really see how exicted they were about school. Walking with a slight bounce and all... =)
CSAS 2 was pretty good... We have a new teacher called Ms Lee. Ms Andrina Chung doesn't teach us anymore... =( Anyway, we'll be having lots of new teachers this semester, so I better get used to it... During class, we did a name thingy to put into our file and after that, a mindmap about ourselves and the first few people in our class did a mini presentation-speech thing pertaining to "Myself"... I'll be presenting next week though... I'm looking forward to it. =D
Then we had lunch... At 11am!!! AND we'll be having lunch from 11am-12pm every day of the week... Gotta get used to eating so early...
After lunch was HPI lecture. Mr Yee Mon. Need I say more? Well, at least I think the topic is pretty interesting... =D
Next was Cell Biology lecture... The teacher was mighty boring... His slides were all black and white... Hello? Adding in some colours will get you a lot more conscious student you know? He drones too... =S Wish me luck!
Before Cell Biology lecture started, I had the biggest blow of the day... We'll be having two Cross Disciplinary Subjects instead of one! That really, really stinks... I thought one CDS was bad enough... Now they're making us take two? Help? And with the seahorse project going on, I don't think I'll have a life anymore...
Okay... Deep breath... Phew...
I'm SO going to go through with this. I AM! I'll just need to organize my time better and plough my way through... It's a good thing that the CDS are not examinable... I'd die if they were...
On my way home, I felt so super discouraged...
These are some of the factors:
2 CDS this semester
heavy as hell bags(2 of them)
sweltering afternoon
fatigue
dehydration
Really felt like crap.
On a lighter note, I came back home today and lay on the sofa for a good half hour. Then, I played with my darlings and fussed over them. They just threw all my worries and fatigue out of the window. They're my guardian angels, I tell you... They never fail to make my day... However bad things turns out, i know they'll always be there for me. Always. =D
I love my bunnies. That is something that will never change.
Ah well, it's time to check my mail and go clean the litterbox...
Till next time!

School starts tomorrow! I can't wait! =) I'm quite happy with the timetable too... It has most lessons packed together and my latest lesson ends at 6pm. Phew... I was really hoping and praying that none of my lessons were going to end late... Guess I got my wish.. =D
I can't wait to start AAP! Sure, it may be slightly gross and all, but I believe I'm going to enjoy every bit of it... Even the memorising parts! =D

It's a Monday.
But I'm not going to talk about what happened on Monday. Instead, I'll blab on about last Friday.
It was Friday. 12 October 2007.
Went to Changi with the Seahorse team, the Coral team and the NParks people to catch mysids and shrimps. It was really a lot of fun! I didn't get wet though... Maybe I'll go into the water next time... =)
There was a baby bird too! The NParks people found it in the office compound or something and brought it with them. It was about a week old. We named it Eshe Lutalo Solabba. Not sure whether it's a male or a female though... They all look the same.. Hahas...
Anyway, Eshe is not being cared for and fed by Alison... Maybe I'll pop by one day to see it.
On Saturday, we went out to have dinner with my grandparents to celebrate my Grandpa's birthday... Dinner was pretty good. Then my cousin came over to our house to stay. She'll leave later this evening.
Ah well, I'm bored... Seeya!

Went to SPOTLIGHT with my sis today... We took the bus there because she claimed she knew where to alight and guess what? We missed the stop... Several stops in fact... We were supposed to alight somewhere near Peace Centre, but we ended up in Chinatown! Had to walk all the way to the Chinatown MRT Station and take the train back to Dhoby Ghaut... What a waste of time and travel fare... Wouldn't it have been much easier if we took the MRT there in the first place?
Well, we finally reached Plaza Singapura... Had lunch at Carl's Junior (the criss-cut fries were nice) and headed upstairs to SPOTLIGHT. It was really fun! Hahas... I love all things to do with crafts! =D It felt like I was in some dreamland where I'm surrounded by all my favourite things... Anyway, I bought some boards and some random stuff... I can't wait until the next time I visit... =D I'll have to make a checklist and drag my mum there with me (she'll pay =D)...
After that, we went shopping at the TIMES bookstore... Bought myself a book... Couldn't resist... It's a book for naming babies, but I didn't buy it to name one... I'm just really fascinated by the meanings behind all the names... =)
After that, we headed down to Carrefour to buy some stuff back for dinner... It was really hilarious at the cooked food area... This uncle was shouting, "Come buy chicken! Buy one get half free!" I could just imagine him shouting, "Lelong! Lelong!" Like a peddler selling his wares in the market... Ah well, my feet were sore when I returned home... No more walking long distances for me for the next 2 days...
It's late and I believe I should be getting to bed... Bye!
